In the heart of Sicily, on its 'Tenuta di Regaleali', an ecological oasis of more than 500 hectares, the estate produces at present five white wines (Villa Tasca, Regaleali, Leone d'Almerita, Nozze d'Oro and Chardonnay), five red wines (Regaleali Rosso, Camastra, Cygnus, Rosso del Conte and Cabernet Sauvignon), a ros (Rose di Regaleali), a novello wine(Sassello) and a sparkling wine (Almerita). Forty per cent of the production is exported, in particular to Germany and the United States. Experimentation, an activity which has distinguished the Conte Tasca d'Almerita estate since its founding, continues today with and the vineyards currently include over 80 examples of Italian, Greek, Spanish and French varietals from all over the world. The new ultra-modern cellar, renovated with an investment of 5 million dollars in order to ensure ever better quality in both process and product, was opened for the 1999 harvest.
