Yves Cuilleron Sybel Rosé 2019

Bevan Sugarloaf Mountain Proprietary Red 2013What a great run we have had with this vineyard. We recently locked up our blocks long term, ensuring that we will be making this wine for many years to come, and we couldn't be more excited. Stylistically, the 2013 is a combination of the 2012, which had higher acidity and tannin than any previous vintage, and the 2009, which had the most intense dark chocolate flavors. It almost has a sweetness to it, but the wine is bone dry. This extreme site provides incredibly seductive textures and pure sex appeal.
Dönnhoff Estate Riesling 2017A perfect vintage of the wine value in the entire damn world, any color, any grape, any country, any pricepoint. This year for the first time it also contains fruit from a new acquisition, a hectare in the (Niederhauser) Klamm.
Craggy Range Te Kahu Gimblett Gravels Vineyard 2016Deepest crimson red. Brooding aromatically with notes of cassis, black olive, dried tobacco and the faintest hint of caramel. The wine has lovely focus on the palate with dark fruits framed by fine tannins to deliver a classical structure with an excellent future ahead. Food Pairing: Rich red meats.
Orin Swift Papillon 2017Powerful aromatics escape the glass with rich notes of ripe blackcurrant, blackberry, peppercorn and a touch of chaparral supported by a frame of sweet oak. Intensely layered and decadent on entry, the wine exudes characteristics of black plum, boysenberry, kirsch and dark chocolate with a silky soft yet weighty texture. A prolonged finish of Provençal lavender, fig leaf and ripe currants close out the wine.
