Rocche Costamagna Barolo Rocche dell'Annunziata 2015
Le Colture Prosecco Gerardo BrutThis Brut is the fruit of the oldest vineyards (35-40 years old) in Santo Stefano. We dedicated it to our grandfather Gerardo Ruggeri as a tribute to the passionate commitment with which he tended his 'Rive', the vineyards cultivated on the very steepest slopes. It offers pronounced fragrances of citrus and fresh garden vegetables, often alongside notes of fresh-baked bread, then a vibrant crispness in the mouth. The delicate bead of pin-point bubbles animates a lengthy progression and ensures a notably clean palate.
Le Colture Prosecco CartizzeValdobbiadene DOCG Spumante Superiore di Cartizze is a sub-denomination covering a very small area of vineyards located in Valdobbiadene among the steepest hills of Santo Stefano and Saccol; a tiny amphitheatre consisting of marl, sandstone and clay soils that allows Glera grapes achieving full maturation and which, moreover, guarantee an unusual concentration of aromas. In this case the sparkling wine, whilst maintaining the freshness of Prosecco, becomes sweeter, encapsulating a special abundance of perfumes reminding the flavour of soft fruits like apricots and peaches, which then blend into a hint of orange flowers and roses. This gentler flavour extends the persistence of the aroma making Cartizze the ideal choice to accompany a special dessert. It has a pale straw yellow colour, a thin and persistent perlage, an intense aroma and a sweet and fruity flavour. To be served at a temperature of 8/10 °C.
Antonelli Sagrantino di Montefalco Chiusa di Pannone 2012Intense ruby red in colour. A rich and powerful, ethereal and very complex nose. A wine that is best expressed with a long bottle ageing. Accompanies: Grilled, roasted, braised or stewed red meats, game and hard mature cheeses.
