Semeli Mantinia 2018
|Region||Greece, Peloponissos, Mantinia|
The 2018 Mantinia is a Moschofilero, unoaked and dry (2.8 grams of residual sugar and 6.4 grams of total acidity). Sourced from vines at 650 meters, it comes in at 12.3% alcohol. This seems a little understated this year, average in depth, freshness and aromatics. That said, this winery knows its way around this grape, and this still shows well. Its purity is impressive, and it does have the ability to linger on the finish. It's a little short of intensity, zing and zest.
