Aplanta, a new red wine from famed Ole/Obrigado Imports in Portugal is definitely the ‘sleeper of the holiday season!’ This fantastic new release from the Alentejo wine region is one of our current favorites. This Portuguese gem is really fruit forward, yet showcases great complexity and depth. A beautiful dark red with a lush and creamy style, this wine offers concentrated flavors of baked raspberry torte, dark cherry and boysenberry, accented by hints of cocoa & spice. The dry, silky finish lingers with rich berry and lovely, soft earthy undertones. Tastes like a $25 bottle of red! Great to enjoy with any of your favorite comfort foods or slow cooker recipes, a juicy red like this makes dinner easy & enjoyable!
