It is now enjoyable but capable of ageing for many years. This wine is persistent, velvety, and goes on for minutes once opened. Fuligni Brunello di Montalcino 2013Deep ruby in color, fruity and floral bouquet with subtle spice; silky, structured and well balanced, with soft, noble tannins. Aged by regulations for four years, of which approximately two and a half are in wood, Fuligni's regular Brunello di Montalcino also has optimal lasting characteristics but is destined for more immediate drinking. With its elegant combination of fruit and spicy aromas, the Fuligni Brunello is, in any case, the result of carefully selected grapes coming from low yields per hectare and is not produced in years when the quality of the harvested grapes is not suitable to maintain the high standards of the estate.

A wine that is best expressed with a long bottle ageing. Accompanies: Grilled, roasted, braised or stewed red meats, game and hard mature cheeses.

Paolo Bea Montefalco Rosso Riserva Pipparello 2012Similarly large-scaled as the San Valentino, the Pipparello is more overwhelmingly brooding, and more intense in its concentration. The ultra-savory nose is a thick swamp of camphor, black olives, fresh tar, and sandalwood, with pretty high-toned spices lurking in the background. Its palate is arrestingly dense, yet it carries an incredible amount of energy given its over-all disposition. This is a rough-and-tumble, wholly uncompromising wine without a polite bone in its body, yet it still manages to be erudite and nuanced - an embodiment of the spirit of the Bea style at its most extreme.
Muri Gries Lagrein 2018This Lagrein pours a deep purple color. On the nose, it is invitingly open and multi-layered with notes of violet, chocolate, ripe damsons and spices. On the palate, the wine is elegant with a velvety structure, tightly knit tannins and hints of bitter almonds. Best enjoyed slightly below room temperature with game, grilled meat dishes or a juicy entrecôte steak. To enjoy this wine at its best, drink within 5 years.

Bove Pianoro Montepulciano d'Abruzzo 2018
G. D. Vajra Langhe Rosso 2018Red crystal color with purple hues. Nose is rich but yet elegant where fresh red berries and red current notes leave the place to a balsamic tone of pine needle. The mouth shows a beautiful purity and lift with strawberry, cherries and blueberries and a long menthol finish. In 2018, Langhe Rosso is silky and elegant, with plenty of fruit tones and a mineral vibrant finish.
