A classic Alpine white from France’s Savoie region, made from 100% Jacquère grown on the limestone-rich soils of the Abymes cru. Domaine Labbé is a family-run estate led by cousins Alexandra and Jérôme Labbé, known for sustainable farming and minimalist winemaking. Fermented with indigenous yeasts and aged in stainless steel on its lees for several months, the wine is crafted to showcase the purity, freshness, and mineral character of its mountain terroir.

Light-bodied and vibrant, the 2023 offers aromas of white flowers, citrus zest, green apple, and pear, alongside distinctive chalky minerality. The palate is crisp and refreshing, with bright acidity, notes of lemon, orchard fruit, and a subtle saline finish. An excellent match for oysters, shellfish, freshwater fish, goat cheese, fondue, raclette, and lighter poultry dishes, it is a textbook example of Savoie Jacquère. While no major critic scores were published for this vintage, Domaine Labbé is widely regarded as one of the region’s standout producers, and this wine is an appealing expression of the fresh, mineral-driven style for which Abymes is known.
