Chateau des Landes Cuvee Tradition Lussac Saint Emilion 2016
|Region||France, Bordeaux, Lussac-St-Emilion|
|Brand||Chateau des Landes|
This smoky, fruity wine shows obvious wood aging but also plenty of black fruits. Spice, tannins and final acidity add to the mix. Give them time to all come together and drink from 2020.
Based on 80% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 5% Cabernet Franc, brought up in tank, the 2016 Chateau des Landes Cuvée Tradition has a medium-bodied, nicely concentrated style to go with classic chocolaty red and black fruits, licorice, and spicy overtones. It's well-made, has plenty of fruit, and a delicious character ideal for drinking over the coming 7-8 years.
Direct, with a mix of cherry compote, high-toned vanilla and subtle herb notes. Drink now. 14,150 cases made, 151 cases imported.
