“Straight out of the gates you’ll recognize the bold aromas and musculature of a thoroughbred Kentucky Bourbon. Initially, aromas of candied pecans, burnt brown sugar, and light spice. In the bouquet the wine/sherry finish offers a very light touch of stewed fruit, like ripe berries cooking in a saucepan, soon to be turned into jelly. On the palate there is a wonderful interplay between the familiar and the new – signature nutty/caramel flavors known to Knob Creek drinkers, softened and enveloped in a deliciously fresh fruitfulness. Texturally delightful – soft on the palate, with a creamy, lingering finish. “Legent” is just about as smooth as it gets.”
