This blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah has dark berry, cedar and underbrush aromas. The firm palate evokes ripe red currant, star anise and white pepper alongside chewy tannins.

The 2015 Ad Astra is an informal blend of 50% Sangiovese with 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc. Fruit comes from the Maremma area of Coastal Tuscany. This is a soft and accessible wine with luscious layers of blackberry, dried cherry, sweet spice and toasted nut. This is a great bottle to pair with fettuccine with a wild boar ragù. Some 45,000 bottles were made.
