The Larrivet Haut-Brion 2019 Blanc slips sensuously out of the glass with notes of green mango, orange blossoms and fresh pineapple plus nuances of beeswax, fresh ginger and fennel seed. Medium-bodied, the palate is beautifully textured, delivering intense tropical fruit layers and citrusy sparks, finishing long and spicy.

The white from here is always solid as well and seems to be on an upward trajectory. The 2019 Château Larrivet Haut-Brion Blanc reveals a healthy light gold color as well as classic Graves Blanc notes of ripe pineapple, mandarin orange, honeysuckle, and exotic flowers. With plenty of fruit, medium to full body, juicy acidity, and a clean finish, it's a classy, outstanding white in the making. Tasted twice.
Vinous
- v91-93
The 2019 Larrivet Haut-Brion Blanc is a rich, textured white. Apricot, orange confit, chamomile, sweet oak and lightly honeyed notes all grace this creamy, super-expressive dry white. The aromatics here are very tropical, luscious, and bold. Extroverted, racy and absolutely impeccable in its balance, the 2019 is a classy wine. The 2019 is 70% Sauvignon and 30% Sémillon aged in new oak, cask and cement.

92-94. Barrel Sample. Emphasizing tropical fruit as much as citrus, this rounded has a high percentage of Sémillon. There is a fine tension and minerality at the end that will give the wine its aging.
