This product of November 30 and December 5 pickings at multiple sites (Erdener Herrenberg prominent among them) delivers a slightly sweet-sour meld of green apple and apple candy with glazed pineapple. It displays prominent glycerol and considerable sense of stuffing to help buffer its blazing, penetrating, tangy brightness, and finishes with penetrating if edgy and only moderately complex persistence. I would permit it a year or two to settle itself, but given Eiswein's caprices, I wouldn't lose track of any bottles I cellared.
