This is the Valdobbiadene D.O.C.G.’s classical version that combines spiciness and a velvety taste with the limpid vivacity of its bubbles. It is brilliant straw yellow in colour, enhanced by the perlage, the fruity flavours of pears and apples dissolve into floral notes, with a hint of citrus fruit and an aromatic quality fresh and rich in sensations. In the mouth the wine releases smooth and enveloping, whereas remaining dry thank to a strong acidity. To be served at 8/10°C it is ideal as an aperitif, or in combination with vegetable soups, seafood and pasta with delicate vegetable sauces.

The NV Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Extra Dry Pianer wafts up pretty flowery perfumes mixed with gingery spices and notes of freshly sliced green apples. This displays soothing bubbles with a wonderful cut of vibrant acids and minerals contrasted by a balanced sweetness of fruit and inner florals that last. I love the symmetry here, seeming a bit drier than expected, yet pleasantly so. It's very nice.
