We’re very excited to share with you this
Classic Barolo Gem from the LEGENDARY 2016 vintage
from the hills of the Piedmont in Northern Italy.
Jim Nejaime discovered this fabulous winery on one of his many
trips to Italy over the years and began directly importing their
great wines. He visited and stayed with owner/winemaker,
Alessandro Locatelli at Rocche Costamagna in La Morra.
Tasting Alessandro’s available vintages recently confirmed just
how thrilled we are to be able to directly import and offer this delicious wine find
to our Italian wine-loving friends.
Best to enjoy from 2021 - 2046.

“Delicious ripe plums, pomegranate, light coffee, autumnal leafy character & elegant spice with very attractive complexity. The palate delivers a superb array of finely detailed tannins and impeccably concentrated red cherries that have pitch-perfect ripeness. Round and chewy tannins and a rich, flavorful finish. This 2016 Rocche Costamagna Barolo quite is impressive!”
