Domaine Rémi Jobard Bourgogne Blanc 2019

Made from 6 parcels in Meursault from 40+ years old vines, making this a much more affordable declassified Meursault.  Lightly oaked with 50% barrique (15% new) and 50% large old foudre, providing richness and texture, but the minerality can only be Burgundy.  Aromas of peaches, pears, lime, gunflint, and wet limestone.  Rich and lively with incredible depth and concentration.  You would never guess this is simple Bourgogne Blanc, and you would be right, even though it says it on the label.
