“Elegant and soft to the palate, it is characterized by the fruity notes of raspberry and a floral and spicy nose. The Nebbiolo grapes come exclusively from the vineyard "Rocche dell'Annunziata", one of the historical crus of La Morra. Deliciously spiced red cherry, blueberry, pink grapefruit and pomegranate aromas with very attractive complexity already on release. The palate delivers a superb array of finely detailed tannins and impeccably concentrated red cherries that have pitch-perfect ripeness. This is impressive!”

This is rich and broad, featuring plum, cherry, leather, spice, tobacco and mineral flavors. Complex and beautifully balanced, with lively tannins directing the finish, this red shows class and finesse. Fruit, mineral and spice accents prevail on the aftertaste. Best from 2025 through 2048. 2,000 cases made, 600 cases imported.

The 2017 Barolo Rocche dell'Annunziata is forward, open-knit and very nicely balanced. Silky tannins wrap around a core of succulent red berry fruit. Medium in body, gracious and so inviting, the 2017 will be easy to drink and enjoy pretty much upon release and for a number of years thereafter.
