Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon blend this is CF 91% and there is no indication of the blend on the bottle, they have sold this wine direct for the last 30 years and this wine is only 198 cases produced. A very concentrated and rich bouquet dark currant, blackberry and sweet tobacco spice, a hint of pepper and violet floral notes. A big and chewy wine with lots of dark berry fruit, expresso, tobacco spice, nicely balanced with a good amount of that spice and minerality from the nose through the finish.

The gently leafy aromas are understandable, given the dominance of Cabernet Franc (96%) in the 2019 Adam's Blend Red Wine. Cherries also appear on the nose, along with gentle hints of cedary oak. It' medium to full-bodied, silky and smooth in texture, easy to drink and easy to like.

Mostly Cabernet Franc, the 2019 Red Blend Adam's Blend offers a spicy, earthy, red and black-fruited style as well as medium-bodied richness and depth on the palate. It shows more violet and floral notes with time in the glass and reminds me of a solid Pomerol.
