The 2020 Pernand-Vegelesses Les Vergelesses 1er Cru, from an exchange of fruit, has a mixture of red and black cherry fruit on the nose, quite bright and nicely defined. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, a crisp line of acidity, not complex but harmonious on the finish. Drink over the next 4-6 years.
