From a 2 acre vineyard planted in 1985, this Grignolino makes up just a tiny portion of this estate’s production with less than 350 cases made each vintage. Fermented in stainless steel and only aged for 3 months, this is a youthful and bright expression of the hills of Piedmont. Light ruby with floral suggestions, orange peel and white pepper aromas and bright character. Subtly structured with interwoven supple tannins, light-medium bodied and elegant with crushed cherries, red flowers and a hint of fresh mint. This stellar red begs for a slight chill and a sunny day! Perfect with fried seafood or grilled chicken, this is the way to start off your fall food reds!
