2023 is looking to be one of the best vintages Santa Barbara County has ever seen. With an unusually cold and wet beginning to the year and a long, mild growing season that extended up to a full month behind our normal harvest timing, the grapes enjoyed extra hang time and the opportunity to develop gradually. This lead to grapes with beautiful concentration, balance, and vibrant acidity.

The 2023 Pinot Noir (Santa Barbara County) is another fine appellation-level offering from Presqu'ile. Sweet red cherry, cedar, tobacco, dried flowers and herbs all grace this mid-weight yet juicy Pinot. This floral, savory red is all charm.

Fruit from North Canyon, Rancho Los Alamos and the Presqu'ile estate all went into the 2023 Pinot Noir, which opens with a red-fruited, woody and increasingly floral nose after aeration. The palate is bright and high-toned, with a silky, vibrant texture transitioning to a tart, drying finish.
