Jacques Carillon Puligny Montrachet 2022

Carillon's 2022 Puligny-Montrachet Village offers up aromas of sweet orchard fruit, ripe peaches and bread dough, followed by a medium to full-bodied, ample and generous palate.

The 2022 Puligny-Montrachet Village, bottled in March, is very minimalist on the nose. It doesn't deliver the fruit you would think the season would bestow. The palate is balanced with light malic notes. It's a little soft around the edges and this needs more tension on the finish. This is par for the course.
