For our first barrel-aged series release, we partnered with Garrison Brothers Distillery and used their Small Batch Texas Straight Bourbon Barrels to age our Imperial Oatmeal Stout. Inky black in color, this rich stout has flavors of bourbon, dark fudge, toffee, and chocolate-covered toasted oats with notes of butterscotch, nutmeg, vanilla, and angel food cake imparted by the bourbon barrel. Sweet and creamy but not cloying, with added whiskey heat, this is the perfect dessert sipper.
