Cantine Cellaro Bacaro Nero d'Avola

Always a great region for beautifully balanced and approachable red wines. Sicily is brimming with great values - and Bacaro is one of our favorites! A wonderful, rustic, Nero d’Avola from a small, artisanal winery that is full of lovely floral fruit on the nose that mingles with earthy notes. Ripe harmony of crushed red fruits and a touch of cedar spice - this rich red wine is full of blackberries, smoky tobacco, and violet. Indigenous Nero D’Avola tastes like a cross between a Super Tuscan red and a Rhone Valley Syrah. An amazing red with grilled meats, flatbread pizzas or mature cheeses. A fantastic wine and excellent value!
