Manotsuru Demon Slayer Tokubetsu Honjozo Sake
Onikoroshi, or “Demon Slayer” sake is very dry. Medium-bodied with lip-smacking fruit flavors and a pleasant nuttiness on the palate. The finish has a nice mineral tone, characteristic of the easy drinking Honjozo style, in which a small amount of brewer’s alcohol is added toward the end of fermentation. This distinctive trait is called “kire.” Pair with roast chicken or whitefish.
