This Rosé is produced in northern Spain near Galicia in the Valles de Benavente wine region, famously known for its gold mines and the native Prieto Picudo grape which is exclusive to this region. This lovely Spanish Rosé is made from a blend of Prieto Picudo and Tempranillo grapes. It is a beautiful pale pink color, gloriously elegant, balanced and dry Rose! Aromas and flavors of strawberries, red cherry, watermelon and hints of white pepper leap from the glass, overlaid with floral and mineral notes. Concentrated but light on its feet, with balancing acidity and considerable length. The juicy red fruit profile and floral notes of this rosé make it delicious on its own or paired with oysters and shellfish of all kinds, shrimp scampi or crab cakes.
