Merlet XO cognac is the classic par excellence for lovers of old eaux-de-vie, round, warm and delicately elegant. This blend produced by Gilles and his two sons, Pierre and Luc, comes from very old cognacs (at least 10 years old) all distilled in their stills and aged in the family cellars. Merlet XO cognac is made up of different vintages of the appellation, thus offering a rich, fruity aromatic palette, with a very characteristic style, signed Merlet. Tasting Notes: Dark golden brown.The nose is rich and complex, it offers a wide aromatic range of orange peel, vanilla notes, through white flowers. The attack is frank and then gives way to a round and ample mouth, finely wooded. The fruity notes are clean and persistent. Merlet XO cognac is enjoyed neat.
