Ruby-red with brilliant hues. Nose is intense, aristocratic, complex with notes of small fruits, liquorice and sweet tobacco. Taste is enveloping, rich with silky tannins which accompany the sensation of body and fullness.
Pair with roasts, tagliolini with truffle, wild game, well-matured cheeses.

The 2019 Barolo Cannubi is laced with hints of kirsch, cedar, dried leaves, mint and leather. Here, too, there's a good bit of complexity, but these are the aromas and flavors I would expect to see in a slightly older wine. I would give the tannins a year or two to soften, and also not push my luck on aging. Sweet floral and spice notes linger.
