Jochen Beurer crafts this dry, yes that’s right, bone-dry Riesling, from an area on the outskirts of Stuttgart, in Germany’s Baden-Württemberg. Though the region is known globally for automobile production, the lovely countryside nearby is known locally for great wine production.

The youthful Beurer, a former European BMX champion, is an adamant practitioner of biodynamic and organic agriculture, fully Demeter certified since 2008. This earth-friendly vintner allows his wines to ferment spontaneously, via natural yeasts. A Riesling of mountain stream clarity! Delightful!
