Rumpf's 2021 Binger Riesling Trocken is pure and crystalline yet intense and elegant on the refined and "classic" nose. Tart and bitter yet also round and dense on the palate, this is an intense and textured, seriously structured dry Riesling from the famous red quartzite soils of the Scharlachberg. 12% stated alcohol. Screw-cap closure. Tasted in October 2022.
